Freebie Challenge November 2025 - THE WINTER WITCH!

 

Denizens of the Daz3D forum freebie area - Perhaps you thought we were done with the spooks and the scares? Perhaps you thought that the artificial cobwebs and those LED pumpkin-shaped candles could be stowed under the stairs for another year? No. Keep those pumpkin candles out, and the caution tape on the front door, because the spooks are not over yet.

You see, denizens, it appears there's treachery afoot. Just this week alone, my speculative meme-stocks have gone to zero, the shoddy DIY repair to my sink i attempted has failed and flooded the bathroom, and my application to work as a therapist for anxious squirrels has been declined. Coincidence? I think not. No, i think we can all agree, there's only one explanation that makes any sense - Witchcraft. A filthy witch is on the loose, causing mayhem and misfortune wherever they raise their warty heads. Unfortunately, we can no longer plunge innocent people into icy rivers in order to test their witchy resolve, so i will require you to take on this investigative burden for me. Bring me evidence of witchcraft. I want rampant speculation, hearsay, gossip, poor quality polaroids, your aunts opinion and more. It's hard work denizens, but at least the pay is low.

TL;DR - Render witches. Or witchcraft. A winter themed render would be lovely too, you might even get more points that way.

Rules:

 

  1. Minimum of 3 freebies.

  2. A Maximum of 5 purchased items.

  3. Genesis and its standard morphs are fine.

  4. If you postwork your images, provide the base image.

  5. You can use AI for post-work, upscaling, colour work etc, just go easy and stick with the spirit of the competition. 

  6. All Daz ecosystem programs are allowed – Bryce, carrara etc (Even poser, If you behave yourself)

  7. Images pictures are subject to Daz TOS.

  8. No max Entries on this one. I can't count. Do as many as you want.

This Freebie Challenge will end November 30th, 2025 @ 23:59 Daz time.

    Mere hours to go denizens. Lot's of compelling evidence on the thread, but do we have everything? If you have any submissions left, now is the time. My pre-christmas diet has left me in a state of confusion and rage, so i could end this comeptition at any moment!

    Wretched PC just rolled belly up and is showing signs of it being terminal for the CPU. Hrrumph. Possibly wasn't going to be eligible, as I didn't get the main scene item to Rendo for approval as a freebie in time anyway, and now the pc is kaput, that's not going to happen. Frustrating, as it's the first I've worked towards in a while. Regards, Richard.

     Sorry to hear that Richard, hopefully you can get back on the wagon for christmas. I've had to give a GPU a viking burial this year, i know the pain.

     Thanks man, really happy to see you drop in. I hope all of you can stick around for the christmas bash. I can't be by myself, this is the time of year when i'm at my chubbiest and most vulnerable.

     

    PS. @SapphireBlue absence is strange isn't. Odd behaviour indeed. Some might say it's the behaviour of ... a witch.

    Oops... Got a little distracted this month. But I did go crazy in the Halloween challenge last month, so it's okay...

    Your follow-up is also so well done! Also, it's good not to be competing with your renders either. cheeky
